The festive season is when Jaipur glows — diyas on every step, rangoli at every door and flowers everywhere. Here are some ideas for bringing that glow into your home and your gifts.
The festive palette
Warm tones feel most festive: peach and orange roses, golden-yellow chrysanthemums, marigolds and touches of deep red. Balance them with white gypsophila or daisies so the arrangement feels fresh rather than heavy.
Flowers for your home
A low arrangement on the dining table, a small posy beside the puja space and fresh petals floating in a brass urli with a few diyas create an instant festive mood. Change the water daily — flowers wilt faster in warm, busy homes.
Flowers as gifts
Flowers are a thoughtful change from sweets and dry-fruit boxes, especially for family visits, clients and neighbours. Our autumn boxes — the Bloom Letter, Petal Tote, Keepsake Hatbox and Garden Drawer — are designed in festive peach and gold for exactly this.
Plan ahead
The days before Diwali are the busiest of the year. Order a day or two early, choose your delivery date and slot at checkout, and add a personal message so your wishes arrive with the flowers.
Make them last through the festival
Keep arrangements away from diyas, candles and direct sun, top up the water or floral foam every day, and remove any fading blooms so the rest stay fresh.
Wishing you a joyful, bright and beautiful festive season from all of us at House of Gul.
